The SEEP Network is a nonprofit network of over 130 international organizations that believe in the power of enterprise to reduce global poverty. Members connect in a global learning community to increase their impact over 170 countries, where they collectively serve 89 million microentrepreneurs and their families.
The SEEP Network contacted CloudBearing to assist with designing a cloud based network architecture that would service its staff based all over the globe.
CloudBearing provided a complete turnkey migration to Office 365 that included a customized deployment for Office 365, transfer of user data, configuration of end user workstation, customized training for end users, and extensive administration for SEEP’s IT department.
Q&A with Mark Koistinen, Sr. Manager Web Services Technology
Why did your organization decide to move to Office 365?
My users travel often and for sustained periods of time to every corner of the planet. We can’t afford to slow productivity during these periods. Our teams must remain connected and collaborative with access to organizational resources regardless of where they are.
Their support has always been prompt and effective.
We also realized that we were paying too much for dated and less effective traditional IT Management solutions and associated data centers provided by third parties. By moving to the Office365, not only are we realizing significant savings but administering user mailboxes couldn’t be easier.
Moving to the cloud allows us to have our cake and eat it too.
How had Office 365 impacted your organization?
In conjunction with our implementation of Box, my users are always connected and to every resource they need to do their job. Not only are they happier, but I have less infrastructure to maintain and support and my cost has dropped significantly to boot. I’m happier too.
Would you recommend Office 365 to others?
Absolutely! Everything has worked as advertised and I am realizing other points of value all the time.
How would you describe your experience with Cloudbearing?
CloudBearing has been amazing. I have always felt that they have our best interest in mind and their support has always been prompt and effective.
